Hi, I'm Chris Lee and I am so excited to work with you! I believe that every person has inherent worth and was created with purpose. Whether you're facing anxiety, relationship struggles, life transitions, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can find hope, healing, and practical tools for growth.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). I earned my Bachelor of Science in Clinical Neuroscience from Virginia Tech in 2018 and my Master of Arts in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida in 2020
When I'm not in the office, you'll probably find me trying a new restaurant, playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends, or spending quality time with my family.
My approach to counseling is grounded in evidence-based practices and shaped by my Christian faith. I believe healing involves caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. For clients who desire it, I'm happy to thoughtfully incorporate faith and biblical principles into the counseling process. At the same time, I strive to create a welcoming environment where every client is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, regardless of their background or beliefs.
Throughout my career, I have received training and experience in a wide variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, trauma, employment and vocational concerns, disability adjustment, child and adolescent development, parenting, relationship challenges, sexual abuse and victimization, domestic violence, child abuse, adoption, substance use, divorce, custody issues, and many other emotional and behavioral concerns. I provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
My background in rehabilitation counseling has given me a passion for helping individuals overcome barriers and pursue meaningful lives. I especially enjoy working with children, teenagers, and young adults as they discover who they are and who they are becoming.
At the heart of my work is the belief that no one is defined by their past, their diagnosis, or the circumstances they face. My hope is to walk alongside you as you discover healing, develop resilience, and move toward the life God created you to live. Whether we are working through difficult emotions, navigating major life decisions, or celebrating personal victories, I count it a privilege to be part of your journey.
